One of the blogs I read more often than most is Mark Evanier’s News From Me. We seem to share many of the same tastes in movies, television, comedy and more, and he always seems to have something interesting to say about something interesting.

The other day, Mark blogged about “Tanner Dog,” a new product in the seemingly infinite line of Barbie accessories. I couldn’t help but agree with him how odd it all seems. The brand and marketing discussions and focus group research must have been a hoot on this one.
