Where Else?
July 1st, 2009I’m not a Trentonian reader, but I couldn’t resist buying the paper yesterday when I saw this headline. This has to be one of the greatest front pages I’ve seen in years. The interior headlines are pretty good, too:
“Pimple Killer Is Popped For Life” (The story of a life sentence for a man who claimed acne medication caused mood swings that resulted in him stabbing a cheerleader.)
“Clean Sleep” (An article on Billy Mays.)
“Mom Found Dead: Do You Know Why?” (Police asking for help in the case of a 23-year-old mother found dead in her home.)
And they say print journalism is dying.
Maybe if the Seattle Post-Intelligencer ran headlines like this they’d be around today, too.
