Adcandy
April 9th, 2006Adcandy hopes to be a leader in the world of marketing messages created by the general public. I think they’d be better served, though, if they started referring to their audience as “customers” and not “consumers.” They should probably get rid of the Google ads on the site, too: I would think they aspire to more than the pocket change they make from AdSense.
Takeaway for marketers: “Consumers” may make sense for marketing plans, internal discussions and the federal price index, but people want to be “customers” — with all the levels of conversation and service that word implies.
