Thinking about advertising on Facebook? You might want to think again: According to one advertiser, 80 percent of the ad clicks are coming from bots. WordStream reports.

Takeaway for marketers: This is another reason why clicks really don’t matter. It’s all about performance. Getting a million clicks with zero sales is pretty worthless, isn’t it?

newsle is a really interesting app that sets up a newsfeed of “real news” (for example, stories in local newspapers or national magazines) based on your Facebook friends, LinkedIn friends, favorite actors or comedians and more. This one’s a must-use for anyone in the ever-changing world of media relations. (Hat tip to Barbara for the heads up on this one.)
