I’m Pretty Sure This Is Illegal

The other day I called up my mortgage company and asked for a copy of a specific document relating to my account. They said they could fax it to me. So far so good. Then, when I receive the fax, I also receive the Nutrisystem ad above.

Now, I’m no legal expert, but I used to work for a company that got slammed for $1.5 million for junk faxing. I have to think this is a bad idea, and that Nutrisystem (and my mortgage company) are on pretty shaky ground here.
