A Christmas Story was released in 1983 and has become one of the most popular Christmas movies of all time. At 8:00 tonight (eastern time), TBS starts broadcasting 24 hours of A Christmas Story.
You know that scene where Ralphie stands in line to see Santa? And there’s a guy who says, “Hey kid! Just where do you think you’re going? The line ends here. It begins there.” That guy is Jean Shepherd, who wrote the screenplay based on his own short stories.
