I’m still not sure what to think about the now-infamous Nike ad that uses a voiceover of Tiger Woods’ father. It’s profoundly creepy, but it also seems like the kind of ultra-high-profile public display of shame that he needs to work through to get back to some semblance of normalcy, whatever that means in his profoundly abnormal life.

Meanwhile, the Web is lousy with mashups that use the Nike video with alternate soundtracks. It’s become another meme, like the Hitler videos. On Masters weekend, or any weekend, this has to be one of the most appropriate.
