The AOL spinoff from Time Warner becomes official today. The only question: Does this mark a new beginning for AOL, which desperately needs to reinvent itself, or does this mark the first step in AOL’s final journey to the Internet Museum and a spot in the display case next to Prodigy and Pets.com? All together now, class: “Only time will tell.”
