On the eve of Father’s Day comes this story that Paris Hilton’s father is planning a Las Vegas party to celebrate her release from prison.

From the MSNBC story: “According to the New York Post, Rick is asking a $50,000 fee for Paris’ appearance as well as accommodations and flights for guests to be paid for by the venue.”

So on the eve of Father’s Day, and as the parent of a teenage son and a teenage daughter, allow me to offer this timely tidbit of fatherly advice:

If you don’t want the world to treat your daughter like a whore, stop acting like her pimp.
