This AdAge article is fascinating. The upshot: NBC isn’t only guaranteeing audience to their advertisers, they’re guaranteeing audience engagement.

I can hear the sales guys busting into the creative meetings right now: “I don’t care if it doesn’t make sense in the story arc, make it memorable so the audience engagement measures go up!”
