Forbes gets gossipy

Staking out that middle ground between PC Magazine and People, Forbes has published their list of the Web Celeb 25.

John C. Dvorak, who is not on the list, gave a pretty good explanation of how these lists are created on This Week In Tech #86, hosted by Leo Laporte, who is on the list. That TWITcast generated some entertaining discussion over here on Dvorak’s blog.

The TWITs have it right, though: Lists like this are throwaway features, and there are some pretty significant people left off. Not the least of which is me. After all, I was named TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year.
