AMP stands for the Association of Music Podcasting. As their site explains, they were “formed in January 2005 to unite podcasters who play awesome, legally available independent music. We are a bunch of music lovers who have access to great, mostly independent music that you probably haven’t heard of (yet). We provide a fresh alternative to the radio you may be used to.”

Check out their directory of AMP Podcasts here — enough music here to keep you busy for quite some time. I haven’t had a chance to explore too many of these yet, but there seems to be an awful lot of interesting stuff worth exploring — and I can make this solid recommendation for you blues fans.
